When a match still needs an umpire, post it so umpires can show interest — Horizon calls that a TBA Request — then appoint from those who respond.
Match fees and pay
Set match fees by level and report what each umpire is owed for the matches covered. Electronic ACH through Payment Center is United States only; fees may apply.
How cricket organizers appoint umpires in Horizon
- Load the fixture list by region, ground, and competition, with the match format and level on each fixture.
- Place umpires on panels and levels, and collect their availability so each fixture shows who can stand.
- Appoint on-field umpires, a third umpire, and a match referee, or post uncovered matches so umpires can show interest — Horizon calls that TBA Requests.
- Notify appointed umpires of changes and run match fee payroll at the end of the season or pay period.
